Installation
Installation
is very simple for our entire line of products and instructions are provided
with every order. All necessary hardware is included. Mantel Shelves and collectible
shelving generally take 10 to 20 minutes to install. The tools required are:
a tape measure, level, drill, and phillips screw driver. Full
Surround and Interchangeable Mantels generally take 40 minutes to an hour to
install. Tools required include a tape measure, level, hammer, drill and phillips
screw driver. Be
sure to follow the fireplace manufacturer's guidelines and building codes when
installing these mantels to maintain proper clearances. HMC is not responsible
for improper installation of it's products. Shipping
Shipping
costs are shown on the web pages with their respective products, except for
the Full Wall mantels and the Miscellaneous Products. Note that the final shipping
cost of each respective product is factored by the state chart below. For example
a mantel showing a $100 shipping cost would actually cost $100 to Illinois
(100 x 1.0) but would cost $135 to NY (100 x 1.35).
