Hawkeye Mantel Company produces custom mantles for wood and gas burning fireplaces. These mantels are manufactured to our standard dimensions or to your individual specifications, and will enhance any fireplace. Choose from a large variety of designs including classical, traditional, and contemporary, or design your own unique mantel. The primary purpose of this web site is to help you find and purchase a reasonably priced quality fireplace mantel, which is delivered to your doorstep and able to be installed by your average handyman.

Each mantel is handcrafted using the highest quality materials to ensure its lasting value and beauty. The fireplace is often the focal point of a room if not the focal point of a homes interior, and Hawkeye Mantel Company treats each piece with such importance. As craftsmen for more than 30 years in woodworking, Hawkeye Mantel Company will custom design and build any mantle to your individual needs and taste. They can be ordered in any wood, including oak, cherry, poplar, walnut, mahogany, etc. Likewise, they can all be built to coordinate with brick veneer, tile or marble facing and are useable with both gas and wood burning fireboxes.

All of our products are warranted and shipped within 2 to 4 weeks. If you are unable to find a desired mantel produced by Hawkeye Mantel Company, just forward a photo to us and a quote will be returned to you. Discounts are available for volume purchases. Checks are accepted as are most major credit cards.

Hawkeye Mantel Company is open to take phone orders six days a week, Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Saturday 8 a.m. - 12:00 noon central standard time.

In reference to fireplaces, mantel can be spelled both ways (mantel or mantle).
However, these spellings are not interchangeable in other contexts or usages of the word.
